Arrogance, thy name has become "liberal"

Well, it's come to this: I agree with Ann Coulter. At least on Palin's resignation. I have no idea what Palin plans to do next. If she quit to become a voice for her constituency in the lower 48 then she did exactly the right thing. If she quit because she was sick of the job she did the wrong thing.

She has the potential to galvanize the GOP base in a way no one else does right now. One would think, if one were a GOP partisan, that unleashing Palin on the lower 48 would be a welcome tonic. Especially after the most recent sex scandals. Who else do they have? Criss? Newt? Jindal?

Put Palin next to any of them and those men evaporate right before our eyes. Palin has star power. I can't think of another Republican politician with her pull.

One would also think that the GOP ought to be gleeful at the prospect of Palin unleashed.

I like Palin. I am deeply embedded in the "creative class" in the nation's second largest city. A proud liberal all my life. All my markers say I ought to cringe at this person Palin being discussed here. Except of course, this "Palin" does not exist. It was conjured by a large group of entitled brats who are still convinced Obama is a saviour and that he - in some way earned his place. He did not. He is a hologram sent by Wall Street and the idiot elites who hate the working and middle classes. The sooner that is made clear the sooner this horrible chapter in American history will end.

Who knows what Palin does next. Whatever she wants to I'd guess. She is a star. Deal with it.

The fact is - Those with Palin derangement syndrome are sexists. Period. It is about her being a woman AND a conservative.

It's not that most who trash Palin aren't "real" Americans. It is that they are not Americans at all. They fancy themselves "world citizens."

I shudder at the thought - but a right wing surge is coming - and it is because of the bratty, mean Left.

Olbermann wins his first Rappy after a year long display of Hillary inspired mommy issue meltdowns, murder jokes about the former First Lady, and bug eyed buffoonery he likes to call "Special Comments". The manic Olbermann, who is rumoured to be the love child of Phyllis Diller and Donald Trump, enjoyed a year of unconsciously making an ass of himself at every turn while cheer leading for Obama. Congrats Keith! You are the most grotesque news anchor in the woooooooooorrrrrrrrrrllllllllllllld!!!!

With such juicy nominees one almost hates to announce a winner. Each of these people brought sublimated sexism and/or self hatred a special zing this year. However, the winner is: Barack Obama

Barry started the year by playing a song that included the lyrics: 99 problems and the bitch ain't one at his victory party after defeating Clinton in the Iowa. This set the tone for his delicious mix of arrogance, Gangsta/Ho homages, throw the middle finger to Clinton podium stunts, unequal pay for his female staff, and charmless derision to female reporters. All the while he refused to reign in his night of the living dead, women hating cult of idiot children on the Left -lead by Ms. Arianna Huffington - great patron of resentful, disempowered women everywhere, John Avarosis, king - and queen - of barely evolved self hating homosexuals, and that Daily Kos guy who happily played host to a cavalcade of homicidal, sadistic commenters all year.Congrats Barry. Your consistent, duplicitous misogyny all year has been a marvel.

Why Does Obama hate Women?

I'll hand it to the PODS -when they get their Talking Points from Mount Olympus they memorize them and MARCH. They are like worker ants. Someone got the word out that "Palin didn't write her speech."

Ah, the irony. Some part of the reptilian POD brain does not compute that normal people still think. They don't so they assume no one else does. They drank the Kool-Aid - if only those naysayers would take a sip all would be well - seems to be their core conviction.

This is too easy.

1. No politician on that level writes their own words. Obama never has.
2. Both Obama and Biden are proven plagiarists. Attacking Palin for having a speech writer is so deeply cynical it boggles the mind. But it is always Opposite Day in Obamaland. And it is only those who are in charge in Obamaland who are being deeply cynical. The worker ants spreading the nonsense simply believe, which is scarier. They don't question this fart of an Obama Talking Point because they can't. Too much is at stake for them. The mirage can't be broken. I heard a POD on the radio today going on with this line of attack. When the host interjected that Obama did not write his speeches either - she said - without skipping a beat - "We aren't talking about Obama, we're talking about Palin." The disconnect in her "thinking" was hilarious. McCain/Palin are not to be trusted. Obama/Biden do the same thing but that's okay...cuz...why??? I am an Obama Worker Ant. I must Protect and Defend Dear Leader at all times. I must Worship Him and Send Him Money and Girls. Do not Question. Do not Think.

Good lord. THESE people might elect a President.

Obama's true base is that part of the population most skilled in the art of cognitive dissonance.

3. Attacking her for having a speech writer is...wait for it...sexism. Pure and Simple. The game here is keep up the meme that Palin is a light weight. A skirt who needs "speech writers" to help her up. This attack on Palin is particularly odious. One thing Palin has seemingly not had is a leg up from a man. This is a self made woman. In her elections to city council, mayor and governor there is no former President giving her a political pedigree. No men behind the scenes grooming her. Feminists who have retained the ability to think in this nightmare of a year should be lauding her accomplishments - and then respectfully disagreeing with her positions on issues.

It is worth remembering that Senator Clinton is one of the few women of note whose statement after the Palin pick took a feminist stance...lauded her accomplishments, congratulated her, and then made clear Clinton did not agree with her politics.

One of the more destructive results of identity politics and "social justice" whining is that, in the end, "gender and racial equality" really means: Equality if you agree with us.

Which is, of course, not equality at all.

I don't agree with Palin on many points. But I know she is gender equality personified.

It is so easy to beat up on the PODS the part of me that enjoys the sport of it almost wants BHO to win - so I can carrying on shooting fish in a barrel a while longer. But I know something the average buffoonish POD still refuses to accept. If Obama wins - the Pods will be dispatched with all deliberate speed.

Besides all the evidence so far indicates that after a little celebration, Obama will be such a mealy mouthed mush pile as President that the Kool-Aid will finally be pissed out and PODS little hearts will break. And they will, no doubt, run off and find a new idol to venerate.

( We aren't leaving Iraq, PODS. Stop being idiots. Obama won't be closing 19 enduring bases in his first term. Both candidates will lower the troop level. That is all. Obama does not have the nerve or nuts to take on the U.S. Military. He won't. Get OVER it. Whatever will Code Pink do when they realize they've been had? Will they cancel all "How to Scream in the Back of Auditoriums" classses? )

Obama does not care about the PODS. He cares about himself. If one drinks enough to get over the terror of it, the entertainment value alone of Larry (Obama), Moe (Pelosi), Curly (Harry Reid) and Shemp (Biden) running D.C. for 2 short years will be worth it.
