FYI: Mexico collapsing is another "peak oiler" prediction that is now inching into the main stream. It is funny going back and reading Peak Oil Doomers rants about the impending housing collapse, the financial ponzi schemes that would implode, and wild oil price fluctuations about to commence...all on on minor sites in the outerblogosphere...in the midst of an economic recovery that everyone thought would go one and on...and then reading today's headlines... ah... gotta say the doomers are batting about 750.

Personal interjection: With everything that became clear to me last year my happiness at the end of Bush has been muted. But Hill on the hill today at her confirmation hearings prompted a wave of relief - the Bush crap is OVER. Finally. Thank GOD. I have less than low expectations for Obama. But Ms. Clinton is a big leaguer as Lugar put it. I am happy as hell she is about to become the most powerful woman on the planet.
