The Born-Alive Infants Protection Act

Obama's hesitant statement at Rev. Rick Warren's Saddleback Civil Forum in California, on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008,. that defining the beginning of life is "above my pay grade" took even some supporters by surprise.

From the Washington Post on Aug. 20, 2008::

At issue is a measure in both Illinois and Congress called the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which defines as a protected human any life expelled from a mother. Abortion foes championed the cause when an Illinois nurse and antiabortion activist said some pre-viable fetuses were being aborted by inducing labor and then being allowed to die.
Obama, then a state senator, opposed the anti-abortion measure in 2001, saying it crossed the line of constitutionality and "essentially says that a doctor is required to provide treatment to a pre-viable child, or fetus."

As a committee chairman in the state Senate in 2003, Obama supported GOP efforts to add language to the act, copied from federal legislation, clarifying that it would have no legal impact on the availability of abortions. Obama then OPPOSED the bill's final passage. Since then, he has said he WOULD HAVE BACKED the bill as it was written and approved almost unanimously the year before.

Douglas Johnson, legislative director of the National Right to Life Committee, charged that Obama is trying to have it both ways because the Illinois bill he opposed was virtually identical to the federal law he said he would support.

Obama aides acknowledge that the wording of the state and federal bills was virtually IDENTICAL.

Obama supporters have their reasons

There are so many Obama flip flops on issues he campaigned on that many poor Obama Pods can't gulp enough Kool Aid to continue to make excuses. Liberal Rapture to the rescue! When Barry betrays a liberal principle there is always a higher purpose!

Oooooh...I need to call someone right now! I hope HE listens! Obviously, everyone would be happy if Barack listened to their conversations. What's the problem?

Mountain Top Removal: The 42 mountain top removals in West Virginia approved by the Obama administration are a secret plan to build a safe place for endangered species who can only live on stunted mountains. For example, the Stunted Mountain Egret, The Pelosi Billygoat, the Von Trapp Family Hoot Owl, and the Wandering Blue Dog of Appalachia - Barack is so nice to endangered animals!

3. Public financing: This "seeming" reversal last year was a secret code reminding us to wash our hands because HE knew the swine flu would emerge. Because our hands are in "public" and if take away p, b, i, c, i, n, a, n, a, c, i, n, and g - 13 letters - the exact number of letters in "Wash Your Hands" - the remaining letters are u, l, f - which is FLU. Look closely and you see that he was telling us "wash your hands" and "flu". Coincidence? I think not.

2. Reversal on torture photo release: HE, like all of us, was so smitten with Susan Boyle HE did not want anything to take away from her moment in the sun. Obama thinks of everyone!

1. The Defense of Marriage Act: Our leader's plan here will make gay marriage more festive in the long run. Though Obama said DOMA was "abhorrent" during the campaign HE was forced to defend it in court in order to "save money." The money saved by the Federal Government is secretly being earmarked for gay wedding receptions. National Gay Wedding Reception Day will be announced shortly by Barney Frank as part of the next stimulus bill.

If anyone argues with any of these completely sane and logical reasons for Obama's actions it is recommended that those of us who live in Obama's Truth and Light scream:
PALINNNNNNNNN! - really loud until the evil one shuts up or the cops come.

Remember our Dear Leader is totally consistent. Sometimes it may be hard at first to discover HIS reasons - but they are all true and just. Don't be confused because them Jews in the White House won't let the real reasons come out immediately.
