So now the health insurance companies are saying they will find savings and lower the cost of health care.

Obama who won't do anything - except possibly sh**, shower and shave- without a TV announcement is "pleased". Of course he is. The errand boy gets to play boss again. He loves that.
Also FYI- Wall Street bankers promise to be thrifty with your TARP cash and Sea Monkeys are, in fact, monkeys. Any last remaining idiots out there who do not think Obama is in the hip pocket of BIG CORPORATE MONEY, please turn out the lights when you leave the Delusion Convention.
The current "plan", such as it is, creates a system that has both a private and public option. Conservatives are squealing that this will destroy private health insurance companies. (buh bye!) They may be right. Or maybe the insurance bureaucrats who collect cash to ensure a lack of treatment will have to compete to survive by providing a service that is not insanely complicated, and is often worthless the moment it is needed.
Regardless of the outcome of the corporate love fest surrounding health insurance/care reform place your bets now on insurance companies winning big. Whatever one thinks about A single payer non profit option - the "liberal" President and the "Democratic congress" are not even willing to discuss it. On what issue will the allegedly progressive, currently mummified, Obama envelope stuffers finally revolt? My contempt for the idiots in my ex-party grows daily.
Like the stimulus, health care "reform" is shaping up to be a gigantic, gassy mess.
And the GOP has nothing to offer except the usual "Fuck off and die, already. Illness is not profitable!! The free market must rule everything. Even diseases! We have the best health care in the world...for the rich...who are the only people who matter!!! If we show compassion for anyone the radical islamists and sneaky illegals win!!! We are a Christian nation, except the Sermon on the mount part, which is liberal propaganda!!!! Now please excuse me while I go pray to my Ayn Rand blow up doll. "
