More on the Obama U.K. insult here. The excuses are interesting because they seem so honest. Alarmingly honest.

Obama is tired....

His aids did not understand the ins and outs of state visits...

Obama is "surprised" by the size of the job.

(Only a fool or a narcissist could be surprised by the size of the American Presidency.)

And this from an inside source: "Obama is overwhelmed. There is a zero sum tension between his ability to attend to the economic issues and his ability to be a proactive sculptor of the national security agenda...."

And yet we still have not seen a complete banking plan...But note this and remember it: Being able to attend to both the domestic and foreign policy of the United States IS THE JOB. This is an insider admitting that OBAMA CAN'T DO THE JOB.

And then there is this stunner to the U.K. Telegraph from a U.S. official who helped plan the visit: "There's nothing special about Britain. You're just the same as the other 190 countries in the world. You shouldn't expect special treatment."

Wow.

Except being our allies in two World Wars, two Gulf Wars, the Cold War, and the whole common law, constitutional thingy...oh and that "English" language we speak and the tens of millions of Americans who have ancestry in Britain. Other than those things the U.K. is just like Burundi. Sure. (Who is answering the phone over there? Wonkette?)
Hillary better fire whoever said that post haste.

And finally...we are inching ever so close to the WE TOLD YA SO party... there is this:
The Sunday Telegraph understands that one of Mr Obama's most prominent African American backers, whose endorsement he spent two years cultivating, has told friends that he detects a weakness in Mr Obama's character. "The one real serious flaw I see in Barack Obama is that he thinks he can manage all this"

Only the one? This is, of course, a character flaw only because he so clearly can't manage it. It is the job to manage and delegate all of it. Not some of it. This Presidenting job is what so many, for so long insisted, with no evidence whatsoever, said he was uniquely suited for.

You know I am going to go here, so why resist? Hillary could handle it. Hillary would not have blown off the Prime Minster of our most important ally. And she'd go back to work dealing with the economy the moment he left. Poor Barry is pooped after having to rush up stairs to put the kids to bed.

Barry, do us all a favor. Send a lackey to 7-11 for a pack of smokes.
