Bush's Iraq invasion was about securing oil. and nothing else

Tony Snow says Bush thinks that we will be in Iraq for decades. Troops will "continue to be needed in the country to deter threats and to help handle potential crises, as they have done in South Korea." "Crisis" is code for "an oil flow disruption to the United States " The war is about oil. Period. Anyone who insists it is about anything but securing one of the last remaining giant pools of oil for the U.S. is either a liar or in denial. What we cannot do is stabilize the country, leave, then hand over the oil to the Chinese.
Sometime I wonder if there would now be more support for the war if Bushco was just honest about what they are doing there.
